IRIS
Table of contents
IRIS (Ilots Regroupés pour l'Information Statistique) is a French geographic unit used by INSEE for the production of intra-municipal statistics. An IRIS typically groups around 2,000 inhabitants and is the smallest statistical geographic unit in France.
In geo-marketing and local advertising, IRIS zones enable precise targeting at the neighborhood level, rather than an entire city. At The Ramp, IRIS data enriches local advertising campaigns, enabling neighborhood-level targeting for each point of sale in a network.
