Creative personalization: AI brings a new dimension to local advertising

Creative personalization: AI brings a new dimension to local advertising

What if every store could have its own ads, featuring its products, its offers and even its sales staff? With generative AI, The Ramp is turning this ambition into reality, at scale.

“Local Lift”: proximity as a driver of preference and performance

In France, the 366 × Kantar study (2026) confirms this trend: 59% of consumers feel closer to a brand that communicates locally, and 55% report higher purchase intent.

This proximity also appears to translate into business results: +15% in-store conversion when digital advertising is personalized for the nearest store, according to a figure attributed to Kantar, whose exact source has yet to be confirmed.

The takeaway is simple: geographic proximity is no longer enough. Brands also need to personalize their messages, visuals and content.

‍

This is precisely The Ramp’s ambition: combining generative AI, local data and media activation so that every point of sale can have creatives that truly reflect it.

Opel: one national influencer campaign, 150 local videos

To promote the Opel Grandland, The Ramp combined influencer marketing, AI and multi-local activation.

Starting from a video by car influencer Le Vendeur Automobile, our AI Creative Studio generated 150 personalized videos. Each one includes an audio message tailored to a specific dealership, made possible by the authorized AI reproduction of his voice.

The result: 55 dealerships activated on Meta, with geotargeted campaigns around each location.

A single national production thus becomes a multitude of local messages, without multiplying shoots.

This approach earned two awards at the Cas d’OR Digilocales 2026, including the Innovation Award.

Brico Dépôt: from product feed to ad creative

With Brico Dépôt, creative personalization draws on another valuable asset: product data.

With our AI Retail Factory, product feeds can power the generation of contextualized ad creatives.

A barbecue set on a furnished patio, a drill in action, a bathroom cabinet in a contemporary interior.

AI makes it possible to show products in context, automatically integrate commercial information and adapt creatives to every ad format.

The product catalog thus becomes a true engine for ad creation, able to fuel campaigns at scale.

What if a store’s best ambassador were its sales associate?

Creative personalization can also put a face on local communication.

With our AI Retail Factory, it becomes possible to produce videos featuring a sales associate from the store, with their consent, to present a product, highlight an offer or invite consumers to visit the store.

It is a way to combine the consistency of a national brand with the authenticity and proximity of its local teams, without requiring a full shoot at every location.

The Ramp: scaling creativity without losing proximity

The real innovation lies not only in generating content with AI. It lies in the ability to connect product data, ad creatives and their local media activation.

With The Ramp, headquarters keep control of their communication, stores gain relevance and advertisers can finally combine personalization with production at scale.

Tomorrow, the strength of a national brand will no longer be just about speaking everywhere, but about knowing how to speak differently to each of its local territories.
